WHY IT’S DIFFERENT

PetThread doesn’t just store records. It reconstructs the story between them.

Provenance Every fact, whether a dose, a stage or an allergy, carries the record, clinic, date and page it was read from. Tap any line and you land on the original document. Nothing floats free of its source.
Conflict detection Two clinics, two doses, both written down in good faith. PetThread notices the disagreement, shows both sources, and asks you to confirm, instead of quietly picking one.
Missing-history detection A 2025 note mentions “last year’s cleaning”, but no 2024 dental record exists. PetThread reasons about what should be there and isn’t, names the clinic to ask, and keeps the gap visible until it’s filled.

Who’s building it.

We’re a team of machine learning engineers with experience building AI systems for the U.S. Department of Defense and other high-stakes environments.

Our team includes alumni of UC Berkeley, Harvard, and the University of Louisville. We’re bringing the same focus on precision, reliability, and traceability to pet health records.

What do I actually have to do?Connect the email address your clinics already send records to, upload files, or scan paper records with your phone camera right in the app. PetThread does the reading and the sorting.
What if my clinic won’t send records?You can send a request from inside PetThread, and the gap stays visible until something arrives. You can also mark it as held elsewhere if you know it exists but can’t get it.
Does it work for more than one pet?Yes. A household with multiple pets across multiple clinics is the case we designed around. Each pet gets its own history, and Today shows you only what’s open across all of them.
Is my vet supposed to use this too?They don’t have to. You share a read-only view when it helps: at a new specialist, at an ER, with a sitter. Then you end it.
When does early access open?We’re opening early access in small groups and will email you when a spot is available. It’s free, and still being built, so early users help shape it. We’re starting with households juggling several pets or an ongoing condition.
